Well, they are winding the Callsign Longbow kickstart down tonight.
I honestly thought about backing it, but the pick any 12 figure thing asks for addition fees for the kickstarter goal figures, which is a chicken-poop concept to begin with, and doesn't say what the fees are.
I'm anti-shenanigans. It's goofy that one of the unlocked special goal whatevers is a kickstarter exclusive in a baggie, you'd think they'd want more people getting those figures.
Also people have been burned by kickstarters, like that space one Hell's Screamers. People say "Rewards aren't guaranteed" "It's an investment...there's a risk." Nah, forget it. Invest money in something real, not some toy geek's dream. These might turn out to be great figures delivered on time, who knows?

When I see Retello, I see Zartan's masked disguise.
The characters don't do much for me. And they seem very...too ambitious...Pledge for 18 figures, all different...only 5 revealed. And only one has a mock-up. Nah.

I don't care about Ghost Rider. A product of the lessened comic book codes of the 70's that allowed for more horror elements, but his popularity wasn't long lived despite 81 issues. IIRC, he sat out most of the 80's. He was an ideal reboot character for the EXTREME 90's with competition like Spawn. Ghost Rider is such a sporadically popular character that's changed incarnations a few times over the decades and it's hard to say much besides now he drives a car...so is he really a "rider" then? Unless someone else was driving. GHOST PASSENGER!
I skimmed the wikipedia article about the character. Of course at some point they OVER POWERED him. *yawn* They don't realize that OPing characters makes them less interesting in the long run.

There's something a bit off putting about a heroic character with a car, what is he gonna do, run down villains? The bike allows for range of motion and doesn't feel as villainous? Saw some people on Joe Facebooks talking about customizing this vehicle for dreadknoks.

The early bird figure calls for the total backing goal of 9000 to be met by Sept. 23. That's a bit different than what was offered for Hiss Tank's if I recall correctly.

The early bird fig looks like it won't make it and the first stretch goal at 12000 is pure greed. I feel bad for Marvel fans this isn't great HasLab.

The odds of it hitting that 12000 goal just for the first unlock, I really wonder if its possible. If not, then in order to be in on this, you gotta be fine with just the base product, missing the early bird fig. What a shit show.
