Joker talks and for some reason that's where they put the battery compartment in one foot.

My lazy custom for the week...Snow Job. I wanted to use Blizzard 1988 for the body, but Frostbite is what I got. I like how he came out though :-)

So I got these in the mail today. Very happy. Missing crazy man Roadblock, Baroness and Beachhead as well as all of wave 2 so far. But am coming along.

You were wise to get that trooper now. I'm doubting those figures will ever become more available. Anyone who says they will is talking out their ass.
I went to Wal-Mart found no Star Wars TVC, no GI JOE anything and no MOTU Origins. I did see the WWETERNIA figures for the first time, whatever wave has Faker Cena and Roman Reigns in it. No Macho Man or Rey Mysterio was left.
Yeah, I'm probably not gonna collect any of those things. They had movie WASP and Jannah on clearance for $5 each. Not my scale.
It is continually sad how empty the action figure aisle is.

Well, a friend of mine got me wave 1 at distributor price, so saved me a little bit of money, and found the Cobra Trooper thus far in his own toy hunting price. I worry about the 3 I am missing.
I hate WWE MOTU figs. Just seems cornball to me.

WWE is cornball to me to being with. Anyway, I wouldn't pay $15 for them now that I saw them. Am doubting I'd pull the trigger on MOTU origins, too. Guess I'll see if/when I see one in person.
I finally saw 2 new Star Wars figures last week at $13 but passed them up, because I have an okay Luke in stormtrooper armor and an okay K2S0 figure. It gets to be a lot of money rebuying characters and that Luke only has single jointed wrists, IIRC. Lazy Hasbro.

I went and voted for a judge runoff race today and swung by Walmart for a little food shopping. The toy section is depressing. It just looks lame. I saw no He-Man figs, 3 Joe Classified figs (Duke/Scar/Destro) and random Transformers. Not a single thing I'd buy a retail. Ho hum.

I wasted gas going to some garage sales/estate sales and found diddly squat really. I found a $2 loose Playmates Ferengi, but...it's not a great figure and I didn't get it. A buck I would have. Meh. Went to Target and found Vintage Collection General Lando and Bespin Han Solo. I have that Lando but this one has "realistic" face paint ops now, but worth getting again for $13...no. I didn't have that Han Solo, but remembered I needed cat food, so that won out.
Oh, I found an old Voltron story book cassette for free and listened to it on the road. LOL. Used the voice cast from the show. Maybe it was an episode from the show? That was the highlight of the day.

I love that Swindle has the whole line already :-)
Got a Mortal Kombat Sonya Blade movie edition to make a Scarlett custom, like Zarana-X did back in the day. I ordered a ninja force Scarlett figure, hopefully it has the ball joint for her head.
Oh, picked up the IDW Classic Comic 15, which has the last issue reprint from the main run.
YO! JOE!

IDW may not survive, who knows what will happen with the comic?

They never made it past volume 9 for the G.I.JOE Complete Collection, Hardcover Edition. They tried to include Special Missions and the Yearbook in proper chronological order...so the main series cuts off around issue #78 I believe...just ending after the Cobra Island Civil War. Really sad it's called the "Complete Collection". I have volumes 1 through 5 Hardcover, and 11 to 15 the soft cover volumes. I have the rest of the issues from the original run, but I will try to have a complete series between the Hard and Soft cover editions. Make my own complete collection. It's kind of interesting in way, the series always felt different to me after the Cobra Island war...and as a kid I cancelled my comic subscription after #100. I couldn't take Scarlett surviving the gunshot wound to the head (Kill Bill), and Cobra Commander returning from the dead after being buried (KILL BILL). A lot of fans complained that they skipped Special Missions #9 too, and I think this steered them away...they felt they weren't doing the series right, when in actuality, they didn't realize SM #9 takes place later in the series, and I'm sure the writers were going to stick it in the proper order (that was one of the major points for doing this series). Too bad about IDW, I've been wanting to catch up the newer comics. They must have released like 5 variants for the hardcore collector. They should have done the Special Missions and Yearbooks after completing the main series...but I understand what they were going for.

My friend told me what went down with Target.com... Apparently, they went up for order at 2 AM and the scalper bots got them all except the crazy man Roadblock (which is expected to be a pegwarmer). Baroness never went up for order at all. She's expected for release later in august. I got Beachhead/RD coming from him, only one he hasn't found is Baroness, but there's six targets in his area and he seems to think he knows when they'll hit the shelves, so I am hopeful.
