Pimp Daddy Destro, I see they got their priorities straight. The joke has gotten old and it's too soon.
Red Ninja, another over-done look. Some sort of Assassin's Creed wannabe?
Not feeling like I'm missing out on this new line or scale. No matter how much the pollyannas deny it, they made a mistake going too updated with the character looks.

Confused by their fan news. So both Cobra Commanders are exclusives? Why? Is there a third one?

Arctic Mission Storm Shadow is Amazon exclusive.
The regular CC is part of wave 2.
I did pre-order the Hasbro Pulse CC and Pimp Daddy Destro.
The Storm Shadow fig reminds me of Ninja Force.
So, I'm guessing a female fig every other wave.

Profit Distributor Destro is worth owning for camp value. I know what I said before and I stand by it, that it's toon soon and over done. It's like MOTU has to make SCARE GLOW every new format, even though, while not a joke, was a very minor character in the vintage toy line. (It used to be FAKER, but Scare Glow surpassed him) Probably see Crimson Baroness before the year's out. Somehow the Action Force kickstarter guy got the rights to make 6" Sgt Slaughter! The Sarge going to Action Force is one of those things that tells me Mr. Remus needs a payday, and also probably shows that Hasbro probably has very little interest in using him.
Those Classified Joes, really don't appeal to me, and some of the updates are mind boggling, that Red Ninja doesn't really look like a Ninja to me. Though the great thing about this line, is it really made me realize the vast majority of my interest in G.I. Joe is less so much the designs or characters, and more the traditional 80s 0-Ring construction.
Bravo, I think you've gotten it wrong on SCARE GLOW and PIMP DADDY DESTRO. These joke figures are exactly the type of joke action figures, that lines need to do, to appeal to the masses that have "gotten into", action figure and comic book collecting, ever since all those terrible marvel movies started to make a lot of money. The Classified line really modernized things too much, but also left Destro pretty as-is, since there was a need for at least one recognizable design, and there's those collector types that only collect "RARE" and "EXCLUSIVE" shit, so an exclusive with VAPORWAVE packaging, and a controversial past, is what will successfully appeal to guys who had faux-hawks and affliction t-shirts 15 years ago.

That's a valid outlook. I get a lot of things wrong such as being an adult toy collector and somehow still a Star Wars fan (but not enough get a free Disney trial to watch The Mandalorian).
Red Ninjas go from disposable comic book henchmen to cheap Hasbro repaint to First Army Builder in 6-inch scale. My thought was Red Ninja reuses Storm Shadow parts, but I can't tell that it actually does, so...I dunno. Is this 6 cincher some sort of Assassin's Creed inspired look? I never played those games and like everyone else never saw the movie.

Beach Head and Roadblock are in the Snake Eyes movie? I doubt they'd get The Rock's likeness back for a Retaliation 6 incher.

I take back any dissing of Pimp Daddy Destro, I stand by my old "a 6 inch GI JOE line will just be the same handful of characters over and over again" prediciton from years ago, though. Not-SDCC $30 CC repaint with new accessories.   |

Seems chicken shit, but you know this repaint heavy series will make a mainline Baroness of some sort.
Beach-Head looks legit, what happened? Green weapons, though.
Roadblock as played by the late Isaac Hayes. "Snake-Eyes...I heard of you. Heard you were dead!"
Seems like tooling for a new head, could be used to make a new character. Heavy character repetition could get old fast.
Cobra Trooper, oh, there they are the shin guards. Those are the bicep bands of Classified! Seems to have call backs to the wave 1 Retaliation series Cobra Trooper, with the forearm guards, the goggles, and that rifle on the left. If I were to buy something it would be that figure, which I'll never see in person. So it hardly matters.
