Nope. I did see a Storm Shadow cosplay... ehhh... there's basically two kinds of people cosplaying... normal sized people and then the kind of people who are extra large, not fat shaming anyone, but it is what it is. I alot of Deadpool, alot of anime cosplay, one of the more interesting I saw, think they were sisters, one was Alice the other the Queen of Hearts. I saw a little boy as Negan from Walking Dead, even had a fake bat.
They had a station where you could get a picture taken on Battle Cat or Panther from He-Man. But it looked like something embarrassing to do. I saw a professional cosplayer as Catwoman you could get a pic with, but frankly, some of the fan cosplay looked better. There was a Disney Princess cosplay booth and they looked great. A fan was dressed as Ariel from the Little Mermaid, thought her cosplay looked the best, as a fan.
LOTS of over priced comics. You can find better deals on eBay. LOL. I got that comic just to say I got something.
My brother paid 50 bucks to get a pics with Kevin Sorbo.

Sounds like it was a blast :-)
I've never been to a comic con or a cosplay convention, I've always thought they would be a lot of fun.
Glad to see people people having fun in this crazy world :-)
The Neagan Kid sounds like he should have won a prize. If it were my kid, I would make sure to teach him the Neagan whistle :-)

Kevin Sorbo...why not just go to the grocery store and take a pic with a large ham?
I used to find good deals at small comic cons. But as I've posted before, they raised admission from $3 to $5 and I'd burn $6 in gas going there, so diminishing returns.

So, saw some stuff today. Star Wars TVC Tie Pilot, The Child and Zutton, but I didn't want any of them. The Child is a glorified accessory for $13. TIE PILOT is another rehash. Zutton is slight repaint but his eye paint ops were off, made him look off to the side in a paranoid amusing way, but $13 for a figure I really have. Nah. Marvel 3 3/4" Black Panther, Electro and Elektra. $10 is too much for those things. I debated on Elektra, but what would be the point? Prince Adam and Sky Sled are clearance at 30% off at Target...now they have 3 times as many as they had previously. Strange. No new Origins figures. Saw 3 Classified Cobra Commanders. Why is he the unpopular one? Dollar Tree, was surprised to find more PLaymbobil blind bags, since this location had none previously...but these are series 17! I never finished the previous series (1 short). I got 5 out of the 6 I found there and somehow didn't get any of the cool historical dudes, aside from a jester, but modern people and some strange cyberpunk mutant and killer butterfly guy?  Tennis guy had an extra racket case and the jester an extra cuff piece.  |

My half hearted garage saling netted nothing two wise. So I went to actual stores. And since the only things I collect are Playmobil Blind Bags and Prince Adam and Jet Sleds, so...  Okay, Target had the Sky Sled set down to $9. And it has the thin handled sword variant. And the box was nice overall. So I talked myself into it...they had one more left but I couldn't rationalize it. Also, found nothing else of interest at Target. Now will I open it and get the sword out? I got the final Playmobil fig from Series 11 I didn't have. Captain Football Pilot or whatever he is. Also, found ONE bag from the Playmobil movie series, a good one at least...sheriff. So now there's two series out there to get.  |
