Hmmm... a couple more Disney Infinity figs... Wreck It Ralph looks to be the biggest one yet, mass wise. Still looking for vanellope. Guess I should open these two. Ho hum ho hum.

I saw "Wreck It Ralph" on cable last Thanksgiving, it was quite fun. I rarely see animated films these days.
I made it over a month without buying any toys. The bad weather helped. There were two weekends where I didn't go anywhere. There's never anything new in stores anymore and Xmas clearances were so lame (because again, there's nothing good to be clearanced most places).

Stupid forum update *sigh* this will take some getting used to. I've ordered some Masters of the Universe figures, AKA He-Man. Not sure how far into this line I'll go, but I was browsing through the figures they've made and there were a few I really wanted to see in person to judge the quality. Plundor was the first one I picked up Not really into these because of He-Man nostalgia, they just look like cool toys.

Some of those show up from Hong Kong sellers, but usually they lack accessories. Though, I've seen some accessory lots, too.
I don't own any. I heard Big Lots was getting some Mattel overstock last year, but none showed-up at the two stores in my area.

"Fix it Felix!" I got my first MOTU figure today. Draego-Man got here before Plundor. Pros: I'm quite impressed. Detail, colors, articulation, all around very fun figure/toy. I like that this figure doesn't seem to demand a collection. He works very well as a stand alone piece. Bottom line, I like it a lot. The tail makes him nearly impossible to fall over, it's one of the most important aspects of a toy to me that figures be able to stand on their own. Cons: No ball joints on the ankles or elbows, I guess this is the standard though for these figures. Not really a problem because there's swivel lower leg joins at the calves and just above the elbows. These guys seem completely incapable of holding a sword with two hands. That's kind of a bummer, but not a deal breaker. *Just noticed the paint on the sword handle has already started to come off. He's got a tight grip, and the sword is that transparent plastic for the fire flame. Not a big deal, but still a con. After further research it seems the wings are shared with the larger dragon Granamyr (sp?) and Lord Dactus. Not really a con, but worth noting. Most of the figures I want aren't too over-priced yet, except Whiplash, there's a big "WTF?!" Hopefully he gets rereleased, which apparently they do with this line sometimes.

Draego-Man looks impressive. Don't know anything about him, but visually, looks good and large. Man, he looks big. So, this padme ... I never openned the black card Padme, but the plastic bubble seperated itself from the card back. Wonder if this is wide spread with these waves of figs. Ah well. Guess its time to take her out of the package.

Yes, it is widespread, to the point some stores have had to tape the bubbles to the cards. Plus side is that cards are so blah, I don't feel bad about them falling off. MOC collectors must be upset.
Fun fact, the socket on this Padme's head is much more compatible with 25th/Modern Joe necks. Downside is it can't swap out with the regular untorn version of her white outfit.

Lord Dactys and Geldor arrived today. Dactys is a bit larger than Draego-Man. Dactys is a cool figure. It is kind of fun to put them on the same shelf with Jabba and all his henchmen Geldor is unique. Not too many black guys with grey/white mohawks running around.

I remember the mini-comic that had Geldor in it. Funny that "geld" means to castrate. So is he the "Evil Master of Castration"?

Had no idea his character went that far back. I got the white Temple of Darkness Sorceress. She has a crystal fountain thing. She definitely looks like a force of good, I like that. I don't like the wing design, but I still like the figure overall. I'm more excited about "Flutterina" to be released in August. Yes, I want an action figure fairy. That's how I see these two figures anyway. Also got Battleground Evil Lyn on the way for one reason....the head with the helmet removed looks a lot like my sister lolz

Well, I've been adding quite a bit to the MOTU collection. I will try to take some pics on my next couple days off coming up. I pretty much have all the figures I want already lol!
Picked up The Goddess, Vikor, Battleground Teela, Hordak, and....Granamyr!
Vikor might as well be called Conan.
Hordak is so evil looking, that figure/character freaked me out as a kid, okay, maybe even now too.
Maybe I've watched too much Game of Thrones, but I've had a strong need for dragons lately. Granamyr is one of the coolest toys I've ever come across, period. Just about any pose you put him in looks natural. He's pretty darn big too, well over a foot high in his sitting position (really the best way to display him).

Oh wait, I remember Frosta, she was flirting with He-Man big time in an ep of She-Ra is I recall correctly. hehe
