I feel like I am not missing much, but then I prefer Boba Fett to have remained dead. But Morrison is too old for a pre-ROTJ set series.
I've watched 3 episodes of Star Trek Prodigy, the CGI kid-aimed Trek series. It's somewhere between entertaining and cringe. The animation quality is good. It starts off like sooo not Trek, very Clone Wars (bad episodes) so much, I skipped the second half of the pilot 2 parter and went to episode 3. Characters are very kid aimed. Big rock creature with the voice of a small girl. Gross farty alien. Cute blob alien. Annoying punk kid wannabe leader alien. Not really a robot but some sort of gas thing in a mech shell, the most logical of the lot. Bad guy's pretty and smart daughter who'll eventually defect to good guys. Evil not Grievous robotic bad guy henchman. And hologram Janeway. I know Trek is in a sucky state when Janeway's return seems like a good thing! Or maybe just live-action Trek sucks now.

I rewatched the last Terminator. It's not very good, but I still watched it again.
Interesting notes:
Takes place in 2020.
They all drink Corona beers.
The Terminator is made of graphine-oxide.
Stupid things: Killing John Connor. Only women can save the world now.
Seriously, all the men die in this movie.
White female augmented cyborg resistance fighter, that needs a constant supply of large quantities of drugs to function.
Arnold T-800 grows a conscience and learns empathy and compassion, even has a dog. A.I. is your friend.

They started to devalue John Connor earlier. In T3 he's kind of a twit, IIRC. In Salvation, they wanted to kill him off and graft his face on the good guy Terminator (that ending got rejected). Genisys turned him into a villain/terminator. It does help that he's played by different actors all the time.
I can't remember what I wrote about Dark Fate, but it's silly the idea there's always going to be an evil AI that's always going to create Terminators and there's always going to be time travel. Sarah had been destroying them over the years, but what were their missions after Connor died?

Being at hotels with on demand tv, I've caught up on some stuff I've missed... Justice League Snyder cut: It was like a 4 and a half hour movie... It was kind of a struggle to sit through...but I still enjoyed it. Even Ben Affleck as Batman didn't bother me. I do miss the good old days when superheroes had the balls and weren't afraid to wear their underwear on the outside of their pants. Wonder Woman 1984: It has its flaws, but when she learns how to fly...what a great moment :-) The New Mutants: I enjoyed it, but I already forgot I watched it. I'm biased because I remember reading some of those comics as a kid. The last season of the Walking Dead...I can't believe this show is still on Rewatched the Dark Knight rises...put subtitles on so I could know what Bane says. Kind of weird to see Bane post 2020. If anyone thinks that masks are a good idea, just one look at that guy should turn you away from that train of thought. Mostly been watching Naked and Afraid. I've discovered very few of the people ever cover themselves in mud to keep the bugs back...bonus to be less naked. I find it really strange how much they struggle to walk barefoot...like why don't you make some sandals people? They've got 21 days outdoors. And anyone that says they are an expert at making fire can't seem to make a fire.

Man, New Mutants is something I completely forgot about. Still need to watch it one of these days.
I did watch Ghostbusters: Afterlife. It was... 'fine.' Felt a bit empty at times. Flaws: * Small town, no empty town... the lack of extras really make it feel lifeless. * The lead girl, Phoebe, does a good performance in the same realm as Egon ala the Bones in 2009 Trek, however, the rest of the kids are bland. Podcast kid, older brother chasing a girl and fixing the Eco-1, and the older girl he's after, who has no real gimmick. * The other ghostbusters would have listened to Egon.
Pros: * It does give the originals a good moment at the end and the writing was sharp with them. * It probably about as well as you can do to sit the series up to do more. * Much much better than Ghostbusters 2016.
I'll give it a weak 3 out of 4 stars (being generous). If I say Ghostbusters 2016 is 1 1/2 movie, this has to have some milage away from it. But it is flawed.

I had missed Ivan Reitman dying recently. Directed Stripes and Ghostbusters, two key films from my youth.
I caught up on current season 2 of SUPERMAN AND LOIS. It's still good, especially for CW, but is every threat a Kyrptonian something? I dunno.

I saw Joker, and Harley Quinn Bird of Prey. Both were hard to sit through in their own ways.
Joker was dark and depressing...and disgusting.
Harley Quinn took me like 5 times to try and sit through. Just bored. I think it tries to be like Deadpool and fails. I won't bother explaining how bad this movie is, you will know if you see it. For some reason I felt obligated to sit through it. I think her super-human abilities come from drugs and alcohol.

Yeah, Harley Quinn in the movies had one thing going for her... it was the cosplay that chicks did of her and come Birds of Prey, they dressed her down.

Recently rewatched "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man".
What a great film :-)
I would love to transfer some of Don Johnsons lines as the Marlboro Man to Falcon in G.I.JOE the movie.
"My old man always told me, before he left this shitty world... never chase buses or women, you'll always be left behind."
"My old man always told me, before he left this shitty world...there'd be blue-bellied chicken shit bastards like you out there."
"You know that gun costs about two dollars a bullet."
Talking to Duke during his final moments, "It's better to be dead and cool, than alive and uncool."

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (New CGI show) season 2 Episodes 1 and 2. (Not binge watching all 8 episodes released at once)
-Stratos is a young obnoxiously narcissistic King of Avion. He's basically a young Will Smith type character. That's a tired trope but okay. I mean, he looks nothing like the previous Stratoses (Stratosi?), and Stratos rarely had much personality.
-Quest for magical do-hicky...something-something snake men/King Grayskull something.
-Man-E-Faces is even weirder than his toy reveal hinted at. Still an actor, but also ruler of the underworld (the cliched underworld being underground and having an eccentric leader thing). And he was Teela's mentor.
-Rotons appear.
-Tri-Klops is a floating robot...not a humanoid one at all. Wonder if that will change.
It's still entertaining.

Recently rewatched "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man". I'd forgotten it was set in the near future of 1996 (it was released in 1991). We even have Hollywood fear science "ozone layer is gone" stuff. Reminds me of VENOM and THE PREDATOR talking about humans being extinct in a generation or some crap. Would've been funny if one of the live action GI JOE movies had Don Johnson as General Falcon.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (New CGI show) season 2 Episodes 3, 4 and 5.
- Things get sillier. This show isn't too serious, but these episodes are rather goofy.
- Blade Runner references. For a show aimed at kids more than adults?
- Mosquitara shows up, she feeds on energy, electrical and magical, is she part bug or some humanoid with tech. Not sure. Strange inclusion.
- Skeletor and He-Man dance, a reference to that live-action commercial from years ago?
- Bobcat Goldthwait as a talking bug. Yeah...not something I expecting. He's not Buzz-Off, either, but I half expected them to call him that.
- Pairings Teela and Evil-Lyn, who know each other, and then Man-At-Arms and Skeletor who don't really know each other at all. Why? Why not? The Skeletor and Duncan ep felt a bit fillerish, actually.
- Repetitive action sequences in episode 4 almost put me to sleep.
- Recurring bit about Ram Ma'am not having a specific enemy. Is this meta joke or a lead in? Both?
