Yeah, I read he's a three term president. How? Constitution has an amendment preventing that. Even someone completing another's presidential term is limited to 2 years or less to qualify to be able to run twice.
Hollywood romanticizing reporters, even though the journalists they admire are just teleprompter reading propagandists.
I recall the left was against assassinations. If anything happens to Trump, they can arrest everyone involved in the making of the movie. The FBI has done less.

Oh, so I finished X-Men 97.
SPOILERS
Sure enough, ProfX takes control of Mags and turns the lights back on.
Bastion looks to have won and feels he must subjugate the planet because too many humans are bleeding heart pushovers. BUT.... Jean Grey via the Pheonix Force is deus ex machina to put an end to OZT/Prime Sentinel problem. She also humbles Sinister by taking away all the mutant powers/dna he has stolen and he is rather pathetic in the aftermath; he seems to get away in all the confusion. HOWEVER...
Bastion takes Cable's arm and uses the technovirus to further alter himself into anime ultimate form Bastion and decides, well, I'll just use Asteroid M to plumet Earth into another Ice Age.
This creates a situation where its X-Men vs anime Bastion abord Asteroid M while ProfX tries to save Mags mind.
Alot does happen and the X-Men save the day.... but its not Onslaught season 2 will focus on, rather: two mini-series Rise of Apocalypse and The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix. I own Adventures, but not Rise. Looks like Apocalypse and Stryfe I'm guessing will be the villains for season two. Gambit will return as a horse men of death also.
Enjoyable, action packed, every X-Men got a hero/character moment. Good bro mance with Prof/Mags, nice family moment with Summers, Beast has some great lines.
4 out of 4. I was x-entertained.
It occurs to me, the 97 line can sell the figs in their classic suits and sell too Bastion figs now.

Bastion seemed way over powered. Except, I can't remove the head band but I can turn Cable's arm into my upgrade. Sure. All the cameoes, why was Psylocke with Alpha Flight? I know so little.
The asteroid heading right for NYC was too much of a cliche. Peter Parker was like, I'll skip being Spidey and hang out with MJ.
How is Mags recovering from that wound so fast?
So where did Morph and Wolverine wind-up at? Did I miss them in Egypt?
I want to see Forge rebuild the team with Jubilee, Sunspot and whomever he can find...Colossus? That's a more interesting story to me than getting the great team back from time travel shenanigans, where does a team go when the stars/major players are gone/dead?
Going back to the "woke" complaints now that the season is over. The biggest woke things I can recall, were Morph's pronouns and Beast using that recently over-used MLK "Riots are the voice of the unheard" line. Everything else was relevant to the X-Men saga as it's been in the past 40 something years. I guess the pre-70's fans can say they wanted Stan Lee's original no-social-commentary team still. I dunno. My assessment is that the "grifters" picked the wrong show to bitch about.

I assume Morph/Wolverine/Storm may be in yet another time not shown. The woke stuff: The thing is, ProfX and his vision is the core of X-Men which is overcoming bigotry with peace education and understanding. Mag's rage can be cathartic, but the violence will always lead to more death and horror. The X-Men together always helps themselves from also giving into their worst notions. The anti-woke Youtubers seemed to have abandoned covering the show once it turned out to be you know, good. LOL Forge is always a good guy to have around given his way of seeing tech, he's the ultimate utility player, but never gonna be an a-lister. He and Bastion probably have alot in common in terms of powers (sort of how Ice Man and Storm have some commonalities). Blisters have at times took center stage while A-Listers are off the table, for example: I never read Alpha Flight and any attempt to collect it now is WAY down my want list.

I don't know some of those. Forge, Moira?, Polaris, Strong Guy?, Banshee, mohawk guy...not even a guess, Siren?

You got most of them... Mohawk guy is Legion, ProfX's son and very dangerous as he's insane, he's core power is reality altering, but given his mental illness, whatever personality can bring about 'different' powers.

Ha! I saw the FX series' first two seasons of LEGION then lost track, quite frankly season two wasn't that good. They spent a lot of money on the show, but so what? They spend a lot on Star Trek Discovery and it's first season was only mildly watchable.

I did get through re-watching up to Daredevil season 2. Foggy gets a career bump as his relationship with Matt hits a low, Karen always looking for truth turns to newpapers, Punisher does get a Han Solo moment in the final ep showing up to help Daredevil against the Hand, Elektra its not completely flawless, but pretty good adaption of her, interesting Matt chooses, hey you are the only person who really understands this side of me, I will run with you before she 'dies' saving. Of course, Stick, the excellent ahole teacher/adopted father creating abandonment issues for both them, I do think he does care, but he's aways going to put the 'war' ahead of anyone. There's so many moving parts: Punisher, Hand, the destruction of Matt's personal/professional life, of course Kingpin deciding to chill in prison while everyone is killing one another, lol.
Great season.

You could make a drinking game for every time Karen gasps and covers her mouth with her hand. Punishers prison fight is epic.
Stick is the coolest dude ever.
Elektra reminds me of my ex.
Matt burns through three ladies The nurse, because she doesn't want to always be worried about him I think? Karen, dropped for Elektra.
I think the final battle with the Hand on the rooftop, seems to me Punisher was supposed to kill a bunch of the ninjas with the gatling gun. There was a teaser for the season where he was filmed using it, and he is in the same outfit he wears for the rooftop finale.

Watched Furiosa.
Will try to leave out any spoilers...
It's a decent addition to the Mad Max saga.
I enjoyed it start to finish.
It's hard not to see THOR when Chris Hemsworth shows up...
And there are some scenes that just look way too CGI or green screen...
But these are pretty minor complaints, overall it's quite an enjoyable film.

Gave The Road Warrior a rewatch,
haven't seen it for a while now.
I am convinced that the good guys holding down the fuel compound are actually what is left of "The Green Place".

Deadpool Wolverine...I fell asleep halfway through.
No spoilers.
My friend gave it 4 out of 10.
I think that's generous.
Not as good as the last two.
I was expecting to have some good laughs.
I got a couple grins, but nothing made me really laugh.
Maybe the Joker sequel will cheer me up.

Yeah, I'll wait for deadpool/wolverine on digital.
I do wanna see Joker 2 for a Harley Quinn adaption that isn't grrl power. There was a tragedy to her character originally.
My hot take about Deadpool is I liked him better as a fast talking motormouth villain in early X-Force issues than this forthwall breaking Looney Toons character he is now, but I know I am in the minority.

So new Batman cartoon, one the usual anti-woke youtubers are complaining or will complain about. I'm only two episodes in.
It's 1930's, not just style like Batman the Animated Series, but most of the tech apparently. But there's no racism and only some sexism. The Gordons are black. Babs is an adult and a lawyer. Alfred is kinda fat. Batman's voice is okay/adequate. Batman is just an urban legend at the start. Actual guns...well, actual animated guns. People die. Yes, death. Harvey Dent is an ass, but not Two-Face yet. He's voiced by Diedrich Bader who voiced Batman in The Brave and the Bold Episodes don't have title cards.
Batman: Caped Crusader Episode 1 In Treacherous Waters - Female Penguin. Yes. First "this is woke" strike. But not really, I mean, I disliked her, but whattaya gonna do with the character that hasn't been done? I think that's the question of how to approach a lot of changes. There's been other Batman cartoons and they did their own thing sometimes it worked, other times...well no one remember the CGI Batman toon that failed because it really wasn't good. Even here, it's questionable to go so retro in style since that was BTAS's thing and it invites comparisons. I don't think this was a great debut episode, so it's good they dumped 10 episodes at once. Score: 4/10
Batman: Caped Crusader Episode 2 …And Be a Villain - Clayface appears, leaning more into the original Clayface somewhat. It was a fine episode, better than the first. Detective Montoya plays a big role. 7/10

Batman: Caped Crusader Episode 3 Kiss of the Catwoman - So the show's Catwoman is a broke socialite who decides to become a burglar. Somehow she's capable wearing the vintage long purple dress look. The contrast is Bruce Wayne flashbacks to after his parent's murder. It's decent. One sillier aspect is Catwoman getting to into Batman, and upgrading her car into a catmobile. 6/10 Batman: Caped Crusader Episode 4 The Night of the Hunters - Firefly appears, but as part of a bigger story about the Gotham PD going after Batman. 7/10 Batman: Caped Crusader Episode 5 The Stress of Her Regard - So, here we learn that Montoya and Harleen Quinzel are lesbians. We also learn that Dr. Quinzel is kidnapping and brainwashing her rich jerk patients (all male, of course), some of whom have ended up dead. So...kinda woke, but at the same time, Batman's villains often have specific targets. I mean, Poison Ivy goes after people who ruin nature. The problem here is that this has been going on awhile and no one noticed any connections of the gone mad or missing or dead millionaires. No one made the connection. It's rather improbable in that regard. The other issues are that Batman has to be sort of saved by Barbara Gordon, who is too dumb to tell her father what she suspects about her friend Dr. Quinn, bad medicine woman. And Harley gets away, and not even the ass kicking she deserves. I don't care about lesbian crap, but Harley winds up more fetishy than she was before and she's already been an over fetishized character in past versions. 4/10
