General Flagg is one of the few figures that has an open jacket. Lots of custom potential for movie icons like Indiana Jones, Mad Max, ect.
The Black Series, and toys in general...it's amazing how much effort goes into the packaging, and the final product rarely lives up to those standards.

Who cares if the figure inside has eyes that look like Tammy Faye Bakkker, the packaging is snazzy at least! Odd how in the 1980s when there was lesser technology, paint apps fuck ups were seldom seen. In 2017 I've purchased some strange Black Major Python Patrol Cobra soldiers, a Tiger Force Soldier, some light blue soldiers and ones with Firefly v1 Camo. I'll probably get some funnily coloured Steel Brigades and then go back to only buying punk records.

I have a small record collection, and a small crappy record player. I like records better though, sound wise, and the size of a record usually makes for a cool display. I picked up a custom Filmation Hordak head and bone collar. Now my Filmation Hordak looks nearly cartoon perfect I'll try to take a couple pics tonight or tomorrow.

New custom Hordak shots I didn't make this one myself, got the head and bone collar from someone on facebook. I got lucky with getting an order in when she did a run. I'm sure Super7 will make a more accurate Filmation Hordak at some point, but it may take them years to get to it. In the meantime, I'm absolutely thrilled with this. As an added bonus, I now had an extra Hordak collar which I was able to put on the regular version (you may remember the non-removable cape problem), so now my regular version of Hordak can fly the Roton. I kind of like the standard Hordak being more of a Horde Trooper than actual Horde Troopers. I will try to add a pick of the Roton with the standard Hordak later or tomorrow.

ROTON!!! The canopy is removable, there's no opening/closing mechanism. I like to display it both ways, so no complaints about this, just an observation. Also the guns have handles on them that the pilot can't reach. The guns are removable, so I guess they are hooked up to the main controls when flying, but soldiers can detach them when on foot. It kind of reminds me of the villain "Overlord" played by Michael Ironside in "Spacehunter, Adventures in the Forbidden Zone!" Link

I found an incomplete Cobra Stellar Stiletto at a goodwill for 99 cents. Missing the missiles and tailfin. Not bad, considering I never find anything at goodwills.

Wal-Mart rolled back the 3 3/4" Black Series figures to under $10. So I went back to that wal-mart and all the death troopers and royal guards were gone. Meaning they fulfilled online orders from store stock or there's a local scalper who was willing to spend well over $100 to clean them out. Yeah, sure it's been better part of a month since I was there, but if we believe all douche bags that there's no market for super articulated 3 3/4" star wars anymore, hardly any should've sold. Right?
Why do I even care anymore? At least I found a $2 pumpkin pie there.

Star Wars Hassk Thug from Five Below, a minor alien from Force Awakens. Not sure he was worth $5. His right arm has a gummy joint, maybe it's okay, maybe it'll tear. I dunno. Once again a wave nearly impossible to find at retail goes to close out. Wish there was better figures in it. I already had the Nien Numb from it.
Got Jyn Erso from wal-mart, the 4" black series is under $6 currently. Of course, the army builders are long gone.

I should know who these characters are. I have failed as a fan.

Don't feel bad, some of the Rogue One characters were given awful names. I'll never remember Chirroot Emoji's name or whatever it was.

Well, lately I went through most of my stuff to get a fresh perspective on things...and there was one thing above all else that I found that I couldn't part with.... My Millennium Falcon. I noticed a couple things when I got to this... #1) It looks awesome with all the "modifications I made myself" No, really. It does capture the look that we see on the film screen...at least enough to my liking. #2) I always wanted a Falcon of this scale...since I was a kid...and how long I waited to have this thing that is sitting right in front of me is pretty neat. I feel like out of everything, I am going to end up keeping Star Wars...probably still going to trim this collection down too, but keep some of my favorite items like the Falcon.

Found at First Order Stormtrooper at a Wal-Mart where the 4" black series are reduced to $5.84. Not a bad figure, he cannot sit down well because they gave him ball jointed hips, and his knee never achieve a right angle, likewise his elbow don't quite bend in enough to make that right angle. The doubled jointed wrists help. His hand grip is too loose or his gun's handle is too small; it's not terrible, but a little annoying. The mid torso joint is too loose on mine. Got a neck where he can straight ahead and look down but not up. I'm making hims sound bad. LOL This the first new SW figure I've opened since last year. Blasters plug into his right thigh, which is kinda nifty. Paint ops were a little off on the eyes.
They had a Kylo and Phasma, maybe I should've gotten them. But Episode 7 and the First Order leave me cold, so far it's just this guy and that Hux I paid 2 bucks for last year. They also had blue dress Leia, cold weather Han, Finn, one Rey with messed up nose paint, one subpar Vader reissue and General Lando reissue. Kinda funny all the Ackbars sold.
I found an RC Hailfire droid at Goodwill for $2. Missing the remote...oh, well, along with over half the missiles. I have one that works, so I can sell this if I want.

Also a cool BSG book I didn't know existed. Had a $40 cover price new...I paid $1. Not much resale value, but it's cool and barely used. Hailfire droid, chap mei troop truck and some silly Spider-Man car (it was only a quarter)

Chap Mei Truck looks cool.
That BSG book is something like a 400% sale, lol!
Hailfire droid...I don't know, but I bet those missile launchers would be neat on a TIE-Bomber.
