All of my stuff is put away for now too. Being back home and talking to you guys, I feel like digging all my Joe's out.
I'm not sure how I feel about collecting right now. I'm looking at selling my house and donating a bunch of stuff to charity just to move on. Whatever I do, I will probably just keep a hand-full of my classic 3 3/4 customs.

I'm going to say that at the moment, the Renegades are my favorite :-) I just love the small sub-group...they have their own base, they don't answer to anyone other than Sgt. Slaughter. Plus, they single handedly infiltrated and took down the Terror Drome.

Mercer is great. Reminds me of someone who'd actually be an 80s villain in an action movie.

Heh yeah :-) I kind of see Mercer similar to Michael Ironside. But that's probably just my imagination.
Taurus and Red Dog I imagine are Pro-wrestlers in their down time, lol :-)

My opinion: Mercer has his darkness being an x-Cobra Viper, but actually Red Dog is the least ethical of them. Taurus is actually pretty laid back and probably defuses the intensity of the group.

You're right about Red Dog, he really was ready to leave Falcon behind. I like to think after working with Sgt. Slaughter for a while, all three of them would eventually be, "PERFECT!" :-)
Its a great moment when they first meet Falcon and the Renegades start to rough him up a bit, you think Sgt. Slaughter is going to bring some balance, but he just treats him worse, lol :-)
Slaughter: You better grab your gear and start hot footing it, if you want to be there in time for breakfast. It's a longgg haul.
Falcon: You expect me to walk?
Slaughter: No! You can run! YO! JOE! (He gives him a salute too, as he drives off, and Mercer spits at his boots.)
I like that even the other Renegades don't trust Mercer. When he claims to not know what Cobra La is, Taurus says, "That answer gives me no comfort."
You make a good point about Taurus getting the others to chill out, I can see that. Horoscope says, "Bad day to travel!" :-)

Yeah, Sarge is great in the movie. So many great lines. Man, I need to rewatch it eventually.

I had that GIJoe comic that featured Star Viper as a kid. It was epic.

Mine are only characters I've acquired this year: GI JOE: Red Dog Scarlett Heavy Duty (ROC) Duke Leatherneck Cobra: Tomax Xamot EEL 1992 Pit Viper That's a cool team of JOE's...it looks like the Twins took over COBRA. That's really what should have happened after the movie.

This topic seems to always be on my mind :-) I wanted to explain my top favorite COBRA's a little bit. The 1997 Cobra Rage... When I first saw the box art, it absolutely rekindled my interest in G.I.JOE. My best friend actually gave this toy to me for Christmas that year :-) I loved the way they drew Cobra Commander on the box art, He pops out of the hatch with a huge gun (Range Vipers grenade launcher) he looks so badass! The prototype repainted 1989 Alley Viper on the back is amazing, and inspired all of my Alley Viper customs. This is my favorite Cobra Vehicle, box art, and set up.

I found it interesting what characters got changed into what on the redone box artwork. CC V1 was meant to appear in 1997, but as we know, didn't. Funny they cut the art off so there was no replacement needed for Night Creeper hanging in the back.
