Someone left this and some other stuff (empty Pokemon tins) by clothing and book donations bins over by the grocery store I go to. I think it was left over from a garage sale I found a price sticker on that Iron Man display stand thing. People always leaving junk by those bins. Food, appliances, games, toys. And if the bins are full, just dump bags of clothes and boxes of books out...weather be damned. And a big electronic non-poseable Rocket racoon. I already listed him on ebay. Not that's he's worth much.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't take any of that stuff... Well, that Thing does crack me up... a bit.

Finally some star Wars stuff on friday....and it's not so great. $4 for that and $1 for the Playmobil plane, which is kinda cool but I need to make myself sell. I guess the giant 12" walker thing could be used for a custom...but I don't customize. Not sure why I got it, it's not even complete. Also, I completed my yearly "goal" of getting incomplete Revenge of the Sith Jedi starfighters. (I need to unload some of those sometime, too) Today was much better, but later on that.

Remember a few years ago when I found the modern style Renegades and Dreadnok sets a garage sale for super cheap? Those people had a sale again...and the worst part is I drove right past their sign on friday, but I stumbled across it again today. Too much good stuff to buy. I spent $45.25 on this: $30 was for the AT-AT, I've never owned a 90's version and this was only missing a missile and the figures. Loose figures were $1 each as was the HISS. Palpatine was inside the AT-AT I didn't necessarily want him, but I wasn't gonna pass him up as a bonus. Destro was a 25 center as was the playmobil dude...because reasons? I've been after Myo the cantina cyclops and that red girl for years, and quite frankly she's really only worth maybe $3 tops, so great find at a buck. There were probably better figures to get than the droids, but I got into overwhelmed mode just find a good sale with an AT-AT. I might sell 4-LOM to help cover the cost, though his box is a bit beat up. Turns out the gold foil chase concept Stormtrooper ain't worth much. He's too cool to open. Er...I dislike such acquisitions. They had a few MoC figures like Marvel 4" Ms. Marvel was one. Strange complaints aside...highlight of the garage sale season so far...and probably it, as colder weather is coming.

Man, you got some cool stuff, Bravo. Wow.... I never had an At-At and would love to have one... but as it is, no way I could eBay any kind at this time.

I loved and hated those starfighters. I think they look really cool, but the droid slot drove me crazy. The dimensions for the droid (even in the film) don't work. There is no way R2-D2 can sit the way he does in those ships.
Nice score for an AT-AT!!
McQuarrie concepts are my favorite.
I never knew there was an orange female Twi-Lek, cool.
Red HISS for the win!!!!

Female Twi'lek is from an Episode 1 Cinema Scene Watto's Boxed Seats with included some big cool alien. They had the base and Watto there but not the big alien. I debated Watto...but passed. (They reused her head on a episode 2 character despite inaccuracies...cannot remember her name, some club goer)
Red HISS is from TARGET exclusive Ultimate Battle Pack, funny some year back I got the MOBAT from that set, too. I'd think there wouldn't be that many sets out there. I rummaged around for the canopy. But who even knows if it was ever there since there was two parts of that set present, Destro and the HISS.
Oh, and the boarding ramp struts to an old Falcon were nice. Strange, no Falcon but those parts, maybe they sold it yesterday? (I don't need one.)

Shit, I went back. I said I would not unless I could find their sale listed online with proof they were open today. Dammit. I did. Prices were cheaper. $3 for the carded Vader (never owned this version) and around $10 total for everything. I got Sio Bibble that was the important thing. I passed up the $3 carded hunchback angry Jedi Luke, thankfully.

Yoda is chilling. Star Wars really does become a freak show when a bunch of them together. LOL

McQuarrie concept Vader MOC, nice :-)
Action Fleet vehicles are underrated. Vehicles you can hold in one hand and run are fun. PEW! PEW! PEW! :-)

This one had two pilots in it and one is the George Lucas one with the world's tiniest removable helmet...which is apparently worth something.

A couple things I have got recently... Batman: Arkham City players guide hardcover with lovely art of Catwoman and a 3.75 inch Jyn Erso figure.

Rogue One might be the best Star Wars movie ever (hate me all you Empire Strikes Back lovers). I probably would have given Tarkin less screen time, and Vader more, but I get why they did what they did. They wanted to make Vader as menacing as possible, and the more he is shown, the less that becomes. I would like to know what the plans were for all the cut scenes...especially ones that were shown in the trailer, like Jyn facing off with the TIE-Fighter.
There's so many great characters, I love them all, Chirrut, Baze, K-2, Jyn, Bodhi, Cassian, Saw Guerra...all of them are amazing. I do wish the names for Bodhi and Chirrut were switched though ;-)
Catwoman is purrrrty.

Nine times out of ten, I'm not big on the build a gun deal on action figures, particularly at this small a scale. Jyn is okish, but compared to some Rey figs I have, seems low effort. The headmold feels off-brand/knockoff.

The TIE Fighter bit was made just for the trailer according to insiders. The rest was the original movie that Disney PANICKED over and had another director come in and rewrite and reshoot large chunks of the film. I guess it wasn't Star Warsy enough? We'll probably never see the original, like all the reworking of The Last Skywalker or Rise of the Force or whatever movie that was. I mean, I could see the next head of Lucasfilm wanting to but Disney shooting them down because it would be digging up past f-ups.
