No one was paying attention. The bad guys didn't need the van to break down the gate, they could've used some bolt cutters...taken their time.
I just wonder how he expected to survive since this seemingly was just a show of force, not a total attempt to take the prison.
Michonne can swing a mean sword but can't shoot for shit. They all wasted a lot of ammo and killed one guy...at least they have his gun, though.

Axel was done for the moment we started hearing his real backstory. So, if Maggie had been raped, Glenn would feel like she's damaged goods? Or at least she thinks that is how he would feel. And Glenn didn't walk that back. I don't think that's Glenn's issue, his issue is he failed at protecting Maggie and feels like he let her down. Governor sitting Andrea up in a dummy leadership position, going on a 'run' and no one listens to her or answers her questions. She really is dumb to think anything he was saying was true. I really dislike her character. I'm over Rick and ghosts. I thought he was done with that after the phone business. Get his head back in the game. He has to lead because no one else can. Looks like he was back on his game when the attack happened, though. Too much talking for me, but the last bit was top notch tv.

Watching the Talking Dead, the guy who played Axel said he auditioned to play a serial killer type. In the comics, the character kills some women! (Edit: it was a different character in the comics, not Axel) Governor sitting Andrea up in a dummy leadership position, going on a 'run' and no one listens to her or answers her questions. She really is dumb to think anything he was saying was true. I really dislike her character. That's why I made the evil twin joke. At this point the only way to redeem Andrea is to have her fooled by twin governors or some shit.

Loved this episode. Carl played it cool under fire and got people to safety. Daryl has convinced me the crossbow is the absolute best zombie killing weapon. I miss Tyrese, (that was a funny comment Bravo ) it was nice to see someone thinking clearly all the time. I've hated Andrea since the beginning, I was rooting for the zombies when the group ditched her at the farm...actually they would have been better off leaving her at the CDC.

I just watched Mallrats earlier. The Dad/Gameshow producer is the same guy that plays Merle.

Tonight's episode was fill in the blanks...Andrea learns everything, Tyreese's pieces end up at Woodbury...not a whole lot going on. Next episide Crazy Rick & son and Michonne go roadtripping to recruit the Magnificent Seven of the Apocalypse or something. I have no idea what they are doing...one minute it's like "the guvernor will have people everywhere, there's no escape", after Andrea shows up, "let's go for a sunday drive." Clip on the Talking Dead showed Michonne driving, making me question Rick's manhood. I've recently started reading the comic book compendium Vol. 1 and have to say, so far, I think the t.v. show is better overall.

Andrea learns everything... and still stands by her man. H A T E
Of course, she'll rationalize it, oh the town 'needs me'.
Umm, scientist guy? What a spineless doormat.
Horrible episode. Worst of the season. Worthy of season two farm crap.

Michonne goes to a lot of work to prove her point, when stuff like "HEY, THERE'S BULLET HOLES AND FRESH BLOOD ON THE NATIONAL GUARD VEHICLES!" might have been less drastic.
Not that Andrea would've believed her. But you have Miss Strong and Silent and Miss Falls for Jerks, it's a bad friendship in the first place.
Milton is short for "Milque Toast". Seriously, the guy's a terrible nerd stereotype on a show that loves stereotypes.

They should change the name of the show to The Driving Jerks.
"Hey! I'm all alone out here and on foot! Don't taze me bro!"
The three most callous humans in the world drive by.
Morgan! It's so terrible and sad you lost your son and your mind! (That hiker was someone's son.) And you like write on walls like a 3 year old! And you want to kill anything on two legs! You have more boobytraps than a prostitution sting but you left a bar full of walkers within walking distance from your crib! You couldn't have just lured your undead wife into a house or some place and locked her inside?
Back to the backpacker, some excusers say he might have been part of a trap or "evil", but one lone guy isn't a threat to 3 armed killers. Time is no excuse. They had time to get cribs and photos and talk to madmen and back up to get his backpack. They could've dumped off in Rick's hometown which is conveniently within a day's driving distance to and back from the prison. (Morgan would've shot him, but they wouldn't have known that.)
On the other had, they'd killed the wreck walkers, so what was that guy doing lingering there long enough to die? Couldn't hide in a car? None of the cars were drivable?
People have pointed out the police station set was different than the pilot episode. Tsk..tsk...
It wasn't a bad episode. I'm happy not to see the Prison or Woodbury or Andrea for an episode. I laughed my ass off at the whole hitchhiker thing because they were trying to show how much the survivors have changed, but it came across as them being outright jerks more than unsympathetic and suspicious.

I was happy to see Morgan, not happy with how he turned out. He was a survivor. He would have brought muscle and CLEAR thinking to the group. I feel they copped out by making him a madman. Still an enjoyable episode for all the reasons Bravo mentioned, mainly just glad we didn't have to see Andrea

I don't have much to say about this episode, as it was just a filler ep.
The actors who play Rick and Morgan probably like it, getting to give long script readings, but I just can't get into it.
I actually think the episode would have worked better showing pov flashbacks of the events that happened to Morgan instead of having him and Rick to talk about them. That's just me.

Supposedly Sideshow got the license for Walking Dead. It's not clear if they'll do 1/6 12" figures and/or statues & dioramas or all of the above.

You would pretty much expect somone on their own, under those circumstances to lose it. I was kinda dissapointed to see the backpack guy got eaten. I wanted to see him screaming for help as they drove back past him. Would be even funnier if they showed him again in a few episodes, or next season doing the same thing, as a running gag, but that's just me.
