Dolar General "Devil's Due" Shipwreck. Not much to this fig. Comes with a gun and backpack/diver mask. The stand doesn't have his name on it. No filecard. As a Shipwreck fan, it's worth buying, but these figs are about as minimal effort as possible.

I think I looked for those figures just once. I realized it wasn't worth the effort as I'd be more inclined to scalp the damn things if I did find them. The Cobra Trooper and Duke kinda interested me.
I'm laid off of work again. So it's good there's nothing out there right now.

Sorry to hear about the job Bravo :-(
Haven't focused too much on toys lately. My last Hoth splurge will be all for me, at least for a while, because this year I begin construction on my house. It's going to be small, but I still plan on having some space to display some toys.
In other news, I'm really excited to see the new G.I. JOE movie this year. I just hope the original directors cut will be available on Blue-Ray. Kind of funny the new Die Hard is coming around the same time. Game of Thrones season 3 should be awesome.
Also watched Django Unchained. Seemed like a better choice than the Hobbit. They must use the 'N' word over 500 times at least. Not Quentins best work, not his worst. There's some scenes where some modern music is played, this was a poor choice IMHO. There's some hard truths in this movie, and it could have been about an hour shorter.

I bought a figure today against better judgement. Arc Commander Fordo, since this was the first time I've ever seen one and he was released in 2011, supposedly. So, either I get him and then he shows up in bulk later for bargain prices, or I don't get him and I never see him again. Part of me wishes I'd gotten the Logray I saw instead, though. Part me wishes I'd not gone in Toys R Us, but I was waiting to meet somebody and had time to kill... Also watched Django Unchained. Seemed like a better choice than the Hobbit. There's some hard truths in this movie, and it could have been about an hour shorter. He did that in Inglourious Basterds, too. I'm probably not gonna see Django Unchained in theaters at this point. I've never really liked DiCaprio that much (some of his movies were decent) and I'm so-so about Jamie Foxx (RAY was decent). I might still see The Hobbit, though. I recall seeing Fellowship of the Ring during a down and out moment of my life and it was a ray of sunshine. I've heard Gangster Squad is gory-fun/bad history.

Thrift store score. Well, it's kinda a boutique. most of the stuff isn't really a deal, but compared to ebay or collector value it is. They were having a 50% off sale, so the prices were easier to swallow. I got G1 non-targetmaster Hot rod for $5 no gun buyt nearly pristien other than a shoulder sticker. Generations SkyFire for $5, missing a arm cannon and the missiels, the missiles suck, but I will probably be selling this as I've already got one. Commemorative collection Tracks and Inferno, still sealed, $7.50 each. I'm having a quandry about these. Ive got G1 Tracks, complete, but with some yellowing and wear. I was going to restore it at some point, but you can't even get the Reprolabels for what I paid. I've also got G2 Inferno, mint and loose, I bought it new... i75.photobucket.com/albums/i289/Zarana-X/Virtual%20Toy%20Collection/My%20Transformers/102_2007_zps0e703507.jpgThey had the prices written on with a sharpie. I got it off of Hot Rod and the boxes with no trace, there is still a ghost of 9.99 on Skyfire.

I've wondered how much money those repro sticker people make. Ink isn't cheap, but on the other hand it's not like they are casting and molding resin parts.

Those are some real nice deals Z.
I ordered the Sideshow Snake Eyes & Timber set for my birthday. It's supposed to get here in the middle of the week. I was gonna pass on this, but I like the "in hand" pics I've seen. He pretty much just needs an ACI sweater, which I already have, to give him the classic look.

Got my Sideshow Snake Eyes & Timber today, all around nice set. Much better than expected. The sweater isn't that bad, I had a better one to switch, so I'm kind of biased. Switched out a couple other things like the pistol, gave him a more classic uzi, very nice definitive version of Snake Eyes. Especially with Timber. The wolf is huge! Much larger than the previous statue. Detail is very nice, the articulation blends in pretty nicely in most places as hair. Anyway, the set comes with tons of gear. Really comes with a nice variety of options to display however you want. The bag is big enough to hold a sub machine gun, pistols, ammo, works great, has some velcro straps to attach the sword. Also wanted to note the hands have improved. The old ones could barely hold the Uzi, let alone hold it right, now they fit/work perfectly. Minor updates I've made already: Classic Uzi Version one pants & pistol. ACI Sweater. ACI boots. That's all I'm doing, it's a great figure, even has the Arashikage tattoo. Just very happy with this one

I managed to get all of the Dollar General joes, except CC, he looks too plain and with the CG body, looks too much like the 2k3 version. There isn't one anywhere near my house, but I've been doing deliveries at work and I drive by one once or twice a week. Got Duke, shipwreck and Stormshadow right away, no Cobra soldier. After 2 weeks , they restocked and I grabbed the one soldier they had, and since they only had one I grabbed Snake Eyes. For $6, they're pretty good. My complaints are pretty much the empty holsters, Duke has a hip and ankle holster, but only one handgun, the cobra soldier, has a gun and knife sheath and nothing to put in them. Stormshadow only has 1 sword and a compund bow, Stormy needs 2 swords, so I gave him the one from snake eyes, and will give Snake eyes a gun. I gave the bow to Zartan. All of Shipwrecks accesories suck, and his neck isnt painted. I painted Shipwreck's neck, and his sweater and cap black. This soft plastic and me dont get along. The first tiem moving his arms, al the paint on the joint chipped off. The only other modern fig I painted was the 25th "Cobra Forces" Stormshadow, cause that paintjob sucked, had the same problem with his joints.

Those sound like nice finds Zarana-X. I got a 1/6 custom Road Pig in the works, still need a lot of parts though. Also gonna try a Nam Snake Eyes & Storm Shadow. Evilface has some cool custom Cobras, I can't believe he did W.O.R.M.S.
