OMG! This made my day More garage sale garbage. I don't usually buy used CORPS figures but they were in a baggie with the star wars guys, so....

Weird cool find. My dad and I were at a yard sale couple months back and we got a lot of stuff cheap, a box that had sci-mags, MAD magazines, and previews catalogs and such in it. Hadn't even gone through it all. I just found a 1985 comic convention program. Signed by ADAM WEST and more signatures inside, one from Peter Laird of TMNT. Inside the program were 2 signed photos of Adam West as Batman!
Though, I feel bad, because whomever they were signed to lost his stuff or had died since then. I guess.

That's pretty cool Don't feel bad. Things happen for a reason. They found a good home where they are appreciated

The photos are signed to him, not just signed. LOL. If only I had that first name. Reminds me, I have a framed photo of the actor from Starship Troopers, the guy who gets his brains sucked out, my dad picked it up somewhere (free or in big lot of auction junk I assume, knowing my dad). It's to "Vivian".

Someone on the old Code3 forums for Star Wars went to one of the "Star Wars weekends" at Disneyland. He asked the guy who plays "Bigg's" to sign a picture of him to Scarrack (that's my user name for anything in Star Wars, goes back to the old RPG days). I had just had surgery at the time and it says, "Get well soon Scarrack, and join the rebels!~Bigg's" That Star Wars fan barely knew me, really nice of him to do that.

Sweeeet.
Reminds me I picked up rebel pilot Dutch Vander off ebay at Hasbrotoyshop for 5 bucks (Never had the old version of him...not sure why they remade him, though). I forget they have ebay, too. Free Fed Ex shipping, but Hasbrotoyslop is notorious for bad packing. Mine just rattled around in a box, but others have had smashed/crushed items. No bubbles or padding. They have some stuff on marked down, clone pilot for $4, Marvel 4" for $5, and some 6" Marvel, a few star wars items left...strangely nothing from Episode 7 clearanced yet...not that I really wanted any of it.
One of two new figures I've gotten this year. Other was TFA Nien Numb...haven't opened. Paid 4 bucks...he's still kinda scarce. Wish I'd gotten another to resale.

I got that autographed Bigg's pick just before Episode 3 came out, seems so long ago now.
I've had a poor experience with packaging from hasbrotoyshop before. I very rarely ever keep anything on the card, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but very unprofessional. I should look into this sale though, a lot of Marvel 6" figures have good parts I want for customizing the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon characters.
I have a Nien Numb figure...not sure which version, it's well done, but way too short. For sitting in the Millennium Falcon, he's good enough.
Even though I'm "done" collecting Star Wars, I would like a 3 3/4" one from Episode 7, IF it was articulated decently....haven't seen any like that.
My latest purchase is a knock-off transformer called Transistor, AKA Blaster. I haven't opened it yet, but it looks spot on.

Nien Nunb's height is another one of those things. Not sure what's correct.
Wal-Mart 3 3/4" black series (I hate that they use the same name for two scales) is reissuing General Lando, Admiral Ackbar, Ahsoka Tano (Clone Wars) and Emperor's Royal Guard. The last two make sense, they were online only and now expensive on after market. Ackbar and Lando are decent figures, but few were calling for their re-release. Even I bought them years ago. Still kinda annoyed Ackbar got no ankle/foot articulation when other less prominent characters did. Oh, well. Lando's cape still looks silly, elastic band in the front.

I prefer Lando in Disguise, one of my all time favorite Star Wars figures. Also Leia as Boush (sp?). I've got a thing for figures with removable helmets. Ackbar was another favorite as a kid. I had tons of the UPC's to mail away for the free figure back in like 1983, and had about 6 Ackbar figures. I took them to my Kindergarten show & tell day, when I took them out, everyone was like "Whoa!!!"

I really love Farmer Grevous I love the Blaster figure I got. Fun toy, looks like he hopped right out of the cartoon I find myself getting sucked into all the Transformers Movie figures.

Target has a life-size Storm Trooper helmet for $80.....it's hard not to bite. It would make a fun display piece on it's own, but I know it would be the beginning of a Storm Trooper costume for me. Not sure I want to go "all in" just yet... Still, would be fun to go to Star Wars movies dressed up as a Storm Trooper

I had an old Stormtrooper helmet from 1980 or so. It had the multiple small holes in the eyes instead of lenses. My brother had a rubber C-3PO mask. I got the better end of that deal!
