6 Force Awakens figures for $2 each at Meijer. All the popular characters, like Resistance Trooper, General Hux, random alien 1, random rebel alien tech, blue droid....  Saw the SDCC set from last year with Cobra Scythe sky striker at GI JOE HISS at Ollies, $50...Years ago I'd have jumped on that. I was hoping not to see them. It's easier that way. I've passed on so many jets over the years. Some stuff my dad got somewhere, I think for $2 and this was the good stuff...the rest was junk. Some highlights are Scoop with a busted crotch. Anakin missing a hand, Hat Trick Lemonde and Lightning Mobutu from the CORPS! Chap Mei Borg rip-off, space samurai (?),  |

Your Star Wars score is pretty sweet dude. I also like that you nabbed an Omega Red, that figure always looked really cool to me. And you got a normal looking cop, oh the possibilities are endless  |

Ordered another Toryn Far from Hasbroshop cuz she was $5 ($6 with shipping) here's how it arrived after I cut box open.  Glad I wasn't keeping it MOC.  I never opened my first one. |

I got Evil Lyn and Jackle-Man from mattycollector. Jackle looks great. Lyn has got some poor paint application on the head sculpt, I'll have to fix that, I hope Super7 steps up the quality control.

I bought the SDCC Cobra Scythe and GI JOE Chimera set (from last year, right?) at Ollies for under $50 because I had a 15% off coupon and today was the last day to use it. I figured I regret it if I didn't buy it and also regret it if I did buy it. LOL. Anyway, It's only gonna go up in value If I decide I don't want it. I saw the Chimera (HISS) and the 2 Joes themselves sell together for over $50. Individual figures from the set can sell for $15 each. And that's now when a lot of people are parting the set out to resell. I almost got another one to sell, but I'm not rich enough these days.

I've picked a few items up thinking I'll resell them down the road. I got a couple extra Filmation Beastmans, Thunderkittens and an extra Evil Lyn. I should have probably avoided doing this, just because I have enough stuff I should be selling, but I do feel they'll hold gain value. Sort of why I got the Transformers I did too. I think if I resell them, I'll at least make some money on them, or have some cash later down the road.

Final 2016 collecting fails:
Found none of the Black Series 3 3/4" Star Wars stuff at retail. No Royal Guards, Ahsoka, Rogue One characters. Even Ackbar and Lando were gone.
Yesterday I visited the thrift store near my bank. they had some tubs with toys in them, "life sized" Star wars blasters, a clone wars jedi fighter missing parts, a Weeble Wobble haunted house...but none was labeled yet and I asked..."That just arrived. No pricers here. And we're closed tomorrow and monday (always closed sunday)" So...crap. I bet if I go there tuesday it still won't be priced...and will be in the back room, out of sight.
Went to Ollies. They still had a SDCC Cobra Scythe/GI JOE Chimera set. All toys were 25% of $50. But I decided to pass. Because money and I'd cop out and no resell any of it, which is the only logical reason to get another one. So why did I even look?
I didn't need any of that shit anyway.

I'm debating getting a final purchase in on Matty Collectors last day....Glimmer, Netossa, Spinnerella, Eldor, Bow, Seahawk, Clawful, maybe even the Battle Ram. It's not that I need any of it, it's that I feel like, for whatever reason down the road, I'll change my mind and wan them.

When you're on the fence, the only advice I can give is "will any of them ever be cheaper than they are now?" And I don't know the answer.

I decided to pass. Nothing was on my list of "have to have". Kind of wish I grabbed Clawful, but I like the toy version better.
Almost regret not getting the Battle Ram for $55, but ground vehicles take away the reason for having horses or Battle-Cat IMHO.
Flying vehicles tend to bring out the Sci-Fi aspect, so I'm okay with those.
Not really into the other male humans...not only do I not care about them, but having more guys equally as buff as He-Man takes away the magic of him being the most powerful man in the universe.
Things I still need; Buzz-OFF, Modulok, Trap-Jaw, Mer-Man, and Ninjor. Shouldn't be too hard to hunt down those.
BTW, HAPPY NEW YEAR :-)
