I still think it's weird they gave him a gold head. I guess it's more pimp, but not a good representative of the original.
Also, the red parts look terrible and not part of the original design.

 I had these ordered on Walmart.com, but saw them in store. Cancelled the online orders, so retro wave 1 is done. The over stuff of weapons is quick a eye sore. The lack of A Real American Hero makes it feel boot leg. But still, not bad figures. So, all of wave 1 is accounted for. My outstanding collecting: Wave 2 of Classified, He-Man Origins Wave 1, and those two Target Classified figures, Firefly and Viper. |

I do love the original card art. After you compared the Joe's with MOTU, it's clear where Hasbro got the exploding background idea from. Can't tell, did they straight up abandon the goggles head on Snake-Eyes? Congrats on getting the new stuff. Seems quite challenging these days, you gotta have an inside man  |

Yeah, the head on this Snake Eyes is ala his 84 version. I am getting them out of their card bubbles. Soooo many weapons. That briefcase of Baroness' is from Rise of Cobra which held nanotech or something, but this is empty here. Also, two of the small guns with her have small pegs which are supposed to go on a Rise of Cobra fig, but this is not a Rise of Cobra Baroness mold, sooo. Just randomness. LOL

 Well, I ended up ordering this off of BBTS (as my buddies friend, his shipment of wave2 was delayed, so I just paid the slight markup instead instead of missing out completely maybe). Only Firefly and Viper are unaccounted for. The packaging was very good. Haven't ordered something from BBTS in quite awhile, but it was quick and packaging was good. I do think I might have to buy that Action Force replacement gear for Gung-Ho. He looks so blah right now. |

I think the Red Ninja is more striking than the Storm Shadow figure. He has the stuff that came with the Deluxe Snake Eyes.

So my recent finds. Big Lots has is having 50% all toys, not much selection but got 2 Power Team Elite amphibious vehicles for half off. They only had one of each version and I couldn't decide, figuring I could sell the other one later. I also figured it was now or never as they aren't stocking new PTE stuff this year and who knows if ever again. But I got buyer's remorse and haven't opened them. THEN I CHECKED EBAY. The set without the atv, sold for $36 back in August. I think I might sell both sets and buy something I really want. I mean, I do so little with military stuff these days.   The Star Wars Resistance figures were $3.25 at FIVE BELOW. Being a jerk I got both Stormtroopers they had left. (They probably had 4+ cases worth of figures out). And I didn't have Pyre, the gold guy. His left arm is too loose for my tastes, but I had to nitpick the best paint ops of the 4 they had in stock. So...damned if you do. I still need the lead hero from that series. I didn't get him because the prices weren't mark. For $3.25 I will. They still keep getting that awful The Last Jedi figure case that is old people, DJ, Rey, Jyn and R2-D2 (the best seller of the bunch and arguably best figure). That assortment is textbook what they did wrong with everything. Boring look characters, half females (who are also boring looking), no cool villains (DJ sucks or he wouldn't rot on pegs for the past 3 years), no army builders. |

Well, anytime I hear the name DJ I think of D.J. Tanner from Full House. DJ is a shitty name and I had forgotten about him. He actually 'won' in The Last Jedi. Got away with money. I'm sure some comic might of followed up on him, but who cares?
Can't go wrong with Storm Troopers.

War Machine was always my favorite Ironman.
I have no idea who Mockingbird is, Hawkeye's sidekick?
Before the Avenger films, I only really ever knew of Hawkeye from the ads in the back of the G.I.JOE comic to order comics.
I always thought he looked cool. Turns out he is Marvels Green Arrow sort of.
Kind of weird certain Marvel takes on DC characters and vice versa.
