I think... Mockingbird is/was Hawkeye's canon love interest (the mirror of Green Arrow/Black Canary). I never read Avengers when I was a kid, felt like the lot of them, felt like they were 40 year old 'adults' while the X-Men big characters all felt more early 30s. Probably because X-Men comics sold better thus had more high profile artists, thus better depictions. Obviously, things have changed now with the movies and the pissing match that went on between Fox and Marvel before Disney got all the X-Men rights back.

It's weird to think that Disney owns Deadpool.

I'll give my quick impressions.
You can take the figures apart, heads, arms, limbs, so you can easily do a mix and match for customs. The definitely feel like 'toys' meant to be played with rather than collectable for display or storage. The packaging is quite annoying. They really tape up the accessories. Great line, I am happy. (a friend tracked them down for me seeing that they aren't around locally for me)

Looks like Christmas came early :-)
The Classics Battle Cat armor is more maroon/burgundy, I prefer the more bright red color on the Battle Cat origins armor.
They really look like a lot of fun, very happy for you man :-)

I've been getting a ton of MOTU items lately too :-)
Today, Filmation Mantenna and Filmation Ultimates He-Man.
Mantenna is the clear winner, just a lot of fun. I wouldn't want the Classics version, it's too dark & morbid looking for me. The alternate head with the eyes popping out is awesome, and is really amusing. He does look like he stepped right out of the cartoon.
Filmation He-Man is cool. His sword sheath is positioned for his left hand, it does appear that way in the cartoon sometimes, but I will fix it for his right hand.
I saw a video where this guy sprayed it with a Matte Finish and it took away the glossy look. I'll be doing the same thing as soon as I can grab a can of that stuff.

I always loved the Horde. Mantenna I had his vintage figure as a kid... I think. LOL

I remember the West Coast Avengers comic, it was okay. I mean, it was almost all b-listers and that makes teams more interesting. If everyone is an A-lister, they should never lose.
Wal-Mart near been has at least two pegs of He-Man and Skeletor, no one else.
I saw in Pixel Dan's review that Origins Man-E-Faces's head can actually turn, not just his faces. That's cool.

That is pretty impressive about Man-E-Faces head articulation!
I don't have a Classics Orko, turns out the Origins one is bigger than the Classics version...it has a lot more articulation too. I think the Classics is more Filmation accurate, but the Origins version definitely looks way more fun. This guy made some pretty fun poses with him :-) check at 6:43

I did manage to get these off of walmart. Scareglow and Man-E-Faces are unaccounted for only for me of wave 2. I am annoyed the packaging got warped and why a random toy insert? The box they used, they could have packaged them correctly. Ah well. I do think Orko is scaled a bit bigger than he actually was in the cartoon, however, his vintage figure was huge, so I suppose its all good. Trap Jaw has good playability with the different attachments. Reminds me of a Cobra BAT, actually. He also has a mouth that can open and close. Orko is fine but the base stand feels a bit cheap, but he is a must to have the core team from the cartoon.

Finds from Amish/Mennonite stores in northern Indiana. They buy returns lots and resale it. (There's only so much farmland!) I haven't been to any in over a year. Black Series Lando was $3 (I don't really collect 6" but that was too cheap to pass up) TVC Skiff Lando was $5.49 Battle Cat in damaged box was 12.49 And from a different store Wind Raider was $7.49 I don't collect MegaBrands anything, so that's to resell. I passed up Retro Collection Star Wars ESB figures on damaged cards, still wanted $5+ for them. That's not bad...but I dunno. I wanted to avoid that Retro collection stuff. They had Black Series Val from SOLO for $3, I think. She's quite a peg warmer. They had a MOTU Origins Teela for $7.49 but her only accessory was her armor and she'd be placed inside a partially opened Evil-Lyn card. If she had been like $3 I'd have gotten it.

Yeah, Val is probably one of the single least memorable characters from Disney Wars. I can see why there's no demand. Say what you will about some other characters, but at least I can visualize them. Ashame the packaging on that Battle Cat is damaged. The box art is quite nice. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, Bravo!

I still haven't decided if I want to collect MOTU Origins at all, but that cat was too affordable to pass up.
My thanksgiving was decent and relatively small 8 people. I wound up with some blu rays and dvds sans cases because my stepmom's sister's friend died and she was shut-in movie watcher. She had cases full of movies and tv shows. It's strange. I didn't ask how my step-aunt wound up with them. I don't have blu-ray player. I had to leave my cat at home because he wouldn't go in a crate. He's used to be able to go in and out side. So he was stir crazy for days.
